Can be vegan if done with dairy free yogurt! Might result in a different textured mango lassi. Will still be delicious!
Mangoes are high in antioxidants and vitamin C that help boost immunity. Vitamin C is also beneficial for iron absorption and the bodies repair cycle. In addition, mangoes help with digestion, heart health, and give natural energy. The average mango is 107 calories with 76% of the daily value of vitamin C! High in fast digesting carbohydrates, great option for before exercise.
Greek yogurt is high in protein, B-12, potassium, and digestive probiotics. A great substitute for things like sour cream as it has similar texture and flavor. A great option for post workout snacks!
Coconut sugar and agave are great substitutes for granulated high processed sugar. Both have the power to create nutrient dense sweet foods without spiking blood sugar! My go-to substitutes for sugar!
The recipe is a portion for 1 to 2 drinks. You can add more ingredients to make more.
